Thank you for making it, and I would like to ask if I may provide a link to this post to my guild.

Worst quilting class I ever took was one of my first classes, and only had about 4 students in it. It was a machine quilting class, and the instructor spent nearly half of the 2-hour class trying to help a student get her machine to work. Talk about miffed...I so wished she had just refunded the student's money and suggested she reschedule or set up a private session. The class policy clearly stated that a working machine was required. The irksome behaviors affect fellow students, too!!momto1https://www.blogger.com/profile/08078861827642401321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2971040019183989110.post-33511675069312737022017-09-26T17:52:29.259-07:002017-09-26T17:52:29.259-07:00How true on all points, especially the rotary cutt...How true on all points, especially the rotary cutting! Like you, I really get frustrated when a student comes to class with a machine that's "been having a few tensions issues and I thought you might be able to fix it for me." That is usually followed with a statement about how they were thinking about taking it to a repairman, but that's expensive and they just don't want to spend that kind of money. Seriously!!! In a recent class, a student showed up 50 minutes early so I could help her with a crash course on her new machine. It was still in the sealed box! I suggested she take that time to read her manual while I finished setting up for the class. She wasn't overly thrilled with me, but she did ok since we were basically doing nothing more than straight stitching. Whew! I guess I needed to rant too. :-) Thanks and have fun in class.Joannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09367233832927065962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2971040019183989110.post-41386385832540535732017-09-26T15:55:03.111-07:002017-09-26T15:55:03.111-07:00Great reminders--thanks for sharing--I haven't...Great reminders--thanks for sharing--I haven't been to a quilt class in a very long time and I really miss them--
enjoy the moments, diQUILTING IS BLISSFUL, DIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09347815945554965185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2971040019183989110.post-43585836155911322262017-09-26T13:35:23.023-07:002017-09-26T13:35:23.023-07:00Everything here is true and worthwhile to keep in ...Everything here is true and worthwhile to keep in mind. 10 bucks to get your cutter back?
